High School Programs
Our high school programming is built to show high school girls that high-tech skills can be fun and exciting. We’ve created a comprehensive year-long program that begins with a weekend-long kickoff event for a cohort of ~75 high school girls in mid-May.
All workshops are hands-on and project-based so that participants come out of each with a sense of accomplishment and a burst of confidence. They remain engaged by learning through follow-up workshops throughout the year. Workshop offerings typically include robotics, web programming, gaming, and building computers. Our program is free to participants and includes meals and compensation for transportation, as needed.
Each month, we host workshops, film screenings, panels and networking events for college students and career women in New York. These events largely serve as fundraising events for our high school programming but they also have the added bonus of connecting us with all of you.
Join us on June 11th in partnership with Crain’s 2018 Female Entrepreneurship NYC!
